Announcement: Viola Davis top nominee in Best Actress (Drama) category

Dev Patel and Sacha Baron Cohen appeared on the list.
Viola Davis surfaced as one of the nominees for the female counterpart of the category for Ma Rainey's Black Bottom.
After an interval, Parker returned for the next lot.
List: As expected: Chadwick Boseman received posthumous nod
Promising Young Woman, The Trial of the Chicago 7, and Judas and the Black Messiah were some of the titles that stood out in the nominations.
As was expected, Chadwick Boseman, who passed away last August due to cancer, received a posthumous nod in the Best Actor category for his incredible role in Ma Rainey's Black Bottom, his last feature film.
Popularity: 'Borat Subsequent Moviefilm' got nominated in three major categories
Borat Subsequent Moviefilm also became a recurring name on the nomination list in categories such as Best Motion Picture (Musical or Comedy), Best Actor in a Motion Picture -- Musical or Comedy (Sacha Baron Cohen) and Best Actress in a Motion Picture -- Musical or Comedy (Maria Bakalova).
"It's definitely an accomplishment. It puts you up with the greats!" said Henson, while announcing.

Snub: 'Normal People' shocker: Paul Mescal snubbed, while Daisy Edgar-Jones nominated
However, fans are not happy with the treatment meted out to Normal People, which had its lead actress Daisy Edgar-Jones earning her first-ever Golden Globes nomination, while co-star Paul Mescal got snubbed royally.
As a result, people have started expressing their angst on Twitter, with some calling out the ceremony for giving Emily In Paris two nominations, while ignoring breakout star, Mescal.
List: 'Mank's seven nominations, 'The Trial of the Chicago 7' next
Few of the other commendable stars who are surprisingly absent from this year's Golden Globes nomination are Anthony Starr from The Boys, Hugh Jackman for Bad Education, Letitia Wright from Small Axe and Zoe Kravitz from High Fidelity.
Notably, Mank grabbed six nominations, followed by five for The Trial of the Chicago 7 while Promising Young Woman and Nomadland secured four nominations each.
