Everyone who’s seen Sanju remembers the character of Kamlesh Kanhaiyalal Kapasi aka Kamli, earnestly essayed by Vicky Kaushal. Their friendship was truly the soul of the film. Well, guess what? Vicky just took to Instagram to share a picture of him and Paresh Ghelani, the real life Kamli that the character was based on.
Both smiling and pointing at each other, this picture is truly iconic.
After watching Sanju, Paresh posted a heartfelt message to Sanjay Dutt on Instagram and Twitter, expressing his appreciation for their friendship.
Dutt too responded and reciprocated the appreciation, expressing his gratitude to Paresh for being his “pillar of strength.”
You are the pillar of my strength. Thank you for being there, then and now. Welcome to the world of social media buddy! Love you lots. https://t.co/APgxFUbJIv— Sanjay Dutt (@duttsanjay) July 8, 2018
Looks like writer-director Rajkumar Hirani really did not exaggerate the bromance of these inseparable friends. If this isn’t #friendshipgoals, I don’t know what is.
