Happy Birthday Tamannaah Bhatia: Take a sneak peek of her acting career from start to current!

One of the most hard-working actresses in the Indian cinema has seen Tamannaah Bhatia is celebrating her 31st birthday today. Today a new poster of her upcoming film “Seetimaarr” has been released by the makers on the actress’ special day. In the sports drama, she will be portraying the role of Kabaddi coach, “Jwala Reddy”.
Tamannaah Bhatia now professionally known as Tamannah was born on 21st December 1989. She is a well-known actress recognized for her hard work predominantly appearing in Telegu, Tamil, and Hindi-language films. Not only that she also makes an appearance in many stage shows and also promotes brands and products.


Tamannaah had made her acting debut in 2005 in the movie Chand Sa Roshan Chehra at the age of 15. In the same year, she also made her Telegu film debut in Sri. Later in 2006, she made her Tamil debut in the Tamil movie Kedi. She got her breakthrough with Sekhar Kammula’s Happy days and Balaji Sakthivel’s Kalloori, both of which featured Tamannaah as a college student. Her performance in South Indian movies earned her a nomination at the 56th Filmfare Awards South in the Best Tamil Actress category.


In 2011 Tamannah was featured in director Siva’s Siruthai alongside Karthi which was a remake of the movie Vikramarkudu. Even tho the movie was successful Tamannah had received poor critics. Later she followed it with a cameo appearance in the song “Aga Naga” from K. V. Anand’s Ko.
She made her true comeback to Telugu cinema after a two-year gap in the same year with Sukumar’s 100% Love, co-starring Naga Chaitanya. The movie became one of the biggest commercially successful Telugu films of 2011. Because of this movie, she earned a nomination each at the 59th Filmfare Awards South and 1st South Indian International Movie Awards in the Best Telugu Actress category. She also won the Best Actor Female awards at Cinema Awards 2012 and The Hyderabad Times Film Awards 2011. Later she was also featured in films such as Racha, Endukante… Premanta!, Rebel, Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu, and many more.


In 2013 she made a re-entry in her Hindi cinema in Sajid Khan’s Himmatwala which made a profitable success. She made her comeback to Tamil cinema in 2014 after a sabbatical of three years with Siva’s Veeram, co-starring Ajith Kumar. In July 2015, she got her biggest break in the first part of S. S. Rajamouli’s two-part multilingual fictional epic film Baahubali, co-starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, and Anushka Shetty. This movie is considered to be the most popular movie of all time. The movie collected around ₹650 crores and eventually became the top grosser of Telugu cinema and the third highest-grossing Indian film.
