When it comes to clothes shopping on the high street for women over 40, the options have remained the same for the best part of a decade.
If you’re growing tired of the usual Next, Marks and Spencer and Boden browsing. There’s about to be a new affordable and stylish womenswear brand on the block: Harpenne.
Created by River Island Global Holdings, the label will cater to women of all ages, including an older demographic, who have historically been ignored by the high street. It’s aim being to revolutionise the retail offerings, so that all women can feel confident and embrace their personal style.
Managing Director of Harpenne, Fiona Lambert, says: “Harpenne was created after noticing a huge gap in the market, we want to give the forgotten customer a voice.”
The label have released a first glimpse at its debut collection for autumn/winter 2019, which is made up of 120 pieces that have been designed to be timeless, flattering and ethically sourced.
“The Autumn/Winter collection features unique prints and embraces colours flattering all skin tones. Items are designed to suit and flatter all body shapes” explains Lambert.
With prices starting at just £25, tops retailing between £25 and £80 and dresses between £69 to £199 - Harpenne will definitely be a welcome addition for fashion-loving women.
Harpenne’s first collection will launch online on 8th September.
