Hyderabad FC has acquired the sixth spot with 12 points while NorthEast United has occupied the seventh position with 11 points.

Hyderabad FC played nine matches out of which they won, lost and drew three games each. NorthEast United FC also had nine games, they won and lost twice each while drew five games.

NorthEast United had an extraordinary start to their season, they were unbeaten for the first six games of the tournament. After facing their first loss, the Highlanders seem to have lost their track. NorthEast United didn’t win a single game in the last five fixtures. If things don’t change for the Highlanders then it will be very difficult for them to find a place them in the top-four.

Hyderabad FC is just a spot below NorthEast United in the points table and they are facing the same issues as their nemesis. After losing three games in a row, Hyderabad finally registered a win after they beat Chennaiyin FC in their previous match. The Nizam’s victory over Chennai saw different goal scorers apart from their star players which is a good sign for them ahead of their upcoming match.

The two teams faced off against each other twice in the ISL and the head-to-head record has been tied as both teams won one game each. NorthEast United won the first game while Hyderabad clinched the second fixture.

For Hyderabad, Fran Sandaza will be missing the match while Nikhil Poojary will also be unavailable. NorthEast United missed the services of Kwesi Appiah in their previous match, there wasn’t any revelation about his current condition.
