I am with you, don't worry: Rishi Kapoor supports his son Ranbir

Ranbir Kapoor and Mahira Khan’s pictures went viral a fee days back. Since then a lot of have been written and said about the two. The duo was seen smoking outside a hotel in the pictures.

Post that, Mahira was trolled for smoking outside a hotel in New York and wearing a short dress. Reacting to this, Ranbir Kapoor in a statement to a leading daily said, “I’ve gotten to know Mahira in a personal capacity over the last few months. She is somebody who I admire and respect, for her achievements and even more for the person she is. It is very unfair the way she is being judged and spoken about. What is also said is the inequality in judgment just because she is a woman. I request you to stop the negativity and move on with your beautiful god gifted lives. Peace and Love."

He further added, "PS: Both smoking and hate are injurious to health.”

Today, Rishi Kapoor took to Twitter to show his support to his son Ranbir. He wrote, “ He is being honest, media just going aboard. Don’t worry I am with you. Yo!

Recently during a press meet when Rishi Kapoor was asked about the viral pictures of Ranbir and Mahira, he got furious and blasted at the media persons. He even threatened to slap if the same question is asked ever again. He also asked them to ask relevant questions and not to just add masala to their news.

Earlier during an interview, Rishi Kapoor said, "He can meet anybody whoever he wants to, and if people are going to invade his privacy, it’s not done.”

On the work front, Ranbir is currently busy shooting for Sanjay Dutt’s biopic which also stars Sonam Kapoor, Anushka Sharma in pivotal roles.
