Even as the Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan faces heat internationally and domestically over the Kashmir issue, an old video of the country's former foreign minister, Hina Rabbani Khar, has gone viral on social media.
The video has Rabbani saying that Imran has made Pakistan 'a laughing stock'.Rabbani made these remarks some four months ago, in April, during a session of Pakistan's parliament.

The ex-Foreign Minister of #Pakistan Ms. Hina Rabbani Khar has to say this about the current PM of Pakistan @ImranKhanPTI— Alert Citizen's Voice जागरूक नागरिक की आवाज़ 📢 (@AlertJantaINDIA) August 27, 2019
And... our own Indian Congressi panelists were praising #ImranKhan on @republic debate yesterday.#ModiG7Magic pic.twitter.com/XbtbXRZd2K
"Our PM went to lengths to explain Japan and Germany are neighbours. Geography tells us that Japan is in East Asia and Germany is in Europe. He claims Japan and Germany were adversaries during World War 2, but history has it that they were both, in fact, collaborators," she is heard as saying.
"We are not worried about ourselves but we can no longer see you making Pakistan a laughing stock in the world. You can't expect us to support you when you make stupid statements," Rabbani continues."We cannot show our faces to the world anymore. If you're immature and need training in statecraft, first get yourself trained and then become an elected PM," she further adds in the video.
Thank you Oh Lord, for ensuring that this gentleman was not my History or Geography teacher...😊 pic.twitter.com/cIGxX0UdSh— anand mahindra (@anandmahindra) August 25, 2019
Imran Khan has been trying to garner international support, but in vain, after the Narendra Modi-led government in India abrogated the Article 370 which gave special rights and privileges to Kashmir.
