Australia finds new opening pair in the third Test match against India in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Will Pucovski made his debut in the International Test Career and David Warner made his comeback after a groin injury on the same tour in ODI series. Though the result was not that impressive as Siraj strikes and got Warner caught behind by Pujara in the slips.

Earlier Australia won the toss and chose to bat first. Jasprit Bumrah and Siraj started for India; in the 4th over where Warner was struggling against New Indian Pacer Mohammad Siraj he faced his way to pavilion due to outside edge.

Pucovski with Marnus Labuschagne then hold the strings for Australia as secured 2nd session without losing a single wicket. In between rain played a frizzy game at Sydney. The game got delayed for more than 2 hours due to the rain.

Pucovski and Labuschagne put 70+ runs partnership on board; few overs before ending the 2nd session both started playing attacking. Pucovski scored 4 boundries and put half-century in 98 balls. He became 82nd Australian Test player to score a Fifty in the debut match.

Pucovski was slight lucky today when he got two very close lives on field. Both the time Pant missed his catches bowled by Ashwin and Siraj respectively. The second time he was given out by the on field umpire but  then TV umpire given not out.
