FC Goa will be playing SC East Bengal for the Indian Super League game at the Fatorda Stadium on Friday at 7:30 PM IST. FC Goa has acquired the third spot with 20 points while SC East Bengal has occupied the 10th position with 12 points.

FC Goa played 13 matches out of which they won five games, lost thrice and had a draw on five occasions. SC East Bengal also had 13 fixtures, they were victorious on two occasions, lost five games and drew five games.

In the previous match, SC East Bengal lost to Mumbai City FC 1-0 which ended the Reds and Golds seven-match unbeaten run. Robbie Fowler’s men have been cohesive but couldn’t capitalise in the right moment.

On the other hand, FC Goa drew 1-1 against Kerala Blasters in their previous ISL game. Goa has been one of the most consistent teams in the tournament so far and are the favourites to win their upcoming game against Bengal.

In the head-to-head competition between the two teams, SC East Bengal has a slight advantage as they beat FC Goa once in the 2018 Super Cup. The two teams faced each other earlier in the season, the game ended in a 1-1 draw.

FC Goa will miss the services of Ivan Gonzalez as the player has received four yellow cards. James Donachie picked up an injury in the previous fixture and is unlikely to feature in the upcoming game. Adil Khan is the new signing in the team and could play a few minutes for his new team if needed.

Raju Gaikwad won’t be playing the full 90 minutes as the defender isn’t fit after picking up a warm-up injury a few days ago. Apart from Gaikwad, Bengal has a fully fit squad available for selection.
