COVID-19 cases have shown a spike in India after the Unlock phase, and in the last few weeks, news of several Bollywood and television stars testing positive for Novel Coronavirus surfaced. Now comes a statement from the producer of TV show Ishq Mein Marjawan 2 as actor Rrahul Sudhir who is seen in the role of Vansh Raisinghania has tested positive for Coronavirus. As soon as the actor developed mild symptoms for this virus, he decided to self quarantine himself to curb further spread of the virus.
The producers mentioned in their statement about taking necessary precautionary measures after the actor tested positive for COVID-19. The producers mentioned temporarily discontinuing the shoot followed by unit members undergoing tests for the same. Also sanitization has been carried out on the sets to protect their cast and crew. Currently the actor is undergoing medical treatment. As per reports in Bombay Times, a source was quoted saying, “Rrahul tested positive today. He is in quarantine now and we hope that he recovers soon and resumes work.”

In the recent past actors such as Parth Samthaan, Rajeshwari Sachdev, Rajesh Kumar, Karam Rajpal, Shweta Tiwari, Disha Parmar, Himani Shivpuri, Sarika Bahroliya and more were tested positive for the Novel Coronavirus.
Senior actress Himani Shivpuri also urged people not to take this virus lightly and follow safety measures to remain safe in this pandemic.
Meanwhile, actor Varun Badola took a break from the TV show Mere Dad Ki Dulhan after his wife-actress Rajeshwari Sachdev was tested positive to assure the safety of his TV show's cast and crew.
