Mumbai City FC are a point behind ATK Mohun Bagan with a game in hand. In their previous game, Mumbai beat Kerala Blasters 2-0 and took home three crucial points.
In the head-to-head competition between the two teams, Mumbai City FC clearly has the upper hand as they beat Bengaluru FC three times in six previous games. Bengaluru FC won twice and one match ended in a draw. Bengaluru are yet to grab a win over Mumbai since 2017-18.
Bengaluru to miss the services of Ashique Kuruniyan who is recovering after facial surgery to fix multiple fractures. Erik Paartalu won’t feature in the upcoming fixture as he has been suspended for this game after receiving his fourth yellow card of the season.
Mumbai City FC has no issues regarding injuries but it is a lack of rest. They played Kerala Blasters on Saturday evening and got only two days between these two games.
