While taking to Times of India during an interview, Jasmine revealed the shocking details.
Jasmine Sensed Something Was Wrong
When Jasmine was working as a model five years ago, she went to meet a casting director for auditions. Though she didn't name the director, Jasmine said he was known for his Hindi and Gujarati films. Apparently, she sensed something was wrong as soon as she met him.
'To Extent Can You Go?'
It seems the first question he asked Jasmine was, "What will you do to become an actress and to what extent can you go"? To which she replied, "What more I can do, I left my city and home and I am living here and struggling".
He Asked Her To Strip Down
Following the question, the director asked Jamine to strip down so he could judge her 'bikini body'. The actress said she's was taken aback. She said she knew she couldn't fight back in cases like these.
Jasmine Was Briefed Something Else
She further added, "I told him I am not in the best possible shape to flaunt a two piece and the brief was given to me was that the girl's character is very different and I am not supposed to wear a bikini. I immediately left saying that my agency will get back to him and I will meet him again,".
Women Should Be Strong
"Sexual harassment exists can't be denied, but one needs to be strong. Girls should know how to work in their own conditions and not trust anyone, unknown, so easily. It is important to be courageous. This is the right time to take a stand and I am happy this is happening,"
