Orlando Bloom has welcomed another addition to his family following the birth of his daughter Daisy Dove in August.

On November 10, the actor shared a photograph of his new foster dog, Buddy.

‘Plz meet BUDDY a one year old something & something mix, [sic]’ he captioned a photograph of him cuddling the dog.

‘Nothing can replace mighty man, but fostering this little guy has really filled my heart - if you've never fostered or are considering, I'd highly recommend it - it leaves two beings better off & remember what they say never judge a book by its cover - swip[e] for the before photo...[sic].'

In July, Bloom revealed that his dog Mighty had sadly passed away and later got a tattoo of the pup’s name over his chest.

This could be because shelters have had to close as a public place, less people are visiting because they are self-isolating or because pet owners have become ill so are temporarily unable to care for their pet. Due to these factors, there have been calls for more people to join pet fostering schemes.
