The wedding festivities begin with lots of masti, mazak, naach, gaana and never ending giggles. However, the post-wedding days are all about thakaan and neend. The wedding mauhaal makes you so enthusiastic that you totally forget that your body needs rest too. With fancy clothes and décor becoming your routine for those 3-4 days, you are totally involved in the festivities. With rituals getting over, everyone gets back into their routine life. However, things still remain special for the bride and groom. The first day after your wedding is extra special because you wake up as ‘Man and wife’ after all the taam-jhaam and that is what you actually wait for. As Kajal Aggarwal and Gautam Kitchlu are ‘man and wife’ now, Gautam shared a gorgeous picture of his wife! (Also Read: Did Gauahar Khan Get Engaged To Zaid Darbar In Goa? South Indian beauty, Kajal Aggarwal had gotten hitched to businessman, Gautam Kitchlu on October 30, 2020, and their first picture had taken the internet by storm. For the wedding, Kajal had donned a red Anamika Khanna lehenga with golden embroidery and had paired it with an onion-pink organza dupatta, with the cut-work border over her head. The handsome groom, Gautam had looked dapper in a white bandhgala sherwani by Anita Dongre with an onion-pink doshala.
We have grown up watching every new bride waking up all dressed and pretty, however, the reality is different. No one looks perfect when they wake up, with messy hair and kajal being smeared around the eyes and swollen face. Kajal’s hubby, Gautam shared a realistic picture of his wifey on his IG handle showing how Kajal woke up as ‘Mrs Kitchlu’. Sharing a picture of Kajal with messy hair and groggy face, Gautam wrote, “Waking up as Mrs Kitchlu.” Take a look:
In a conversation with Hyderabad Times, Kajal Aggarwal’s sister, Nisha Aggarwal shared that the couple moved into their new home after their wedding with gruhapravesh. She shared, “The morning after the wedding began with a gruhapravesh at their dream home. It was a beautiful, traditional ceremony. The duo was beaming with joy and we are all so proud of them. Their new home is something they’ve both been working on personally, with so much passion. They’ve done it up with a lot of love, and it’s stunning.”
A few days back, Kajal had taken to her IG handle and had shared some beautiful, unseen clicks from her wedding. The first picture had the bride and the groom sitting on the mandap and Kajal could be seen lovingly kissing the hands of her life partner, Gautam. Kajal had captioned the picture as "And just like that, from ms to mrs! I married my confidante, companion, best friend and soulmate. So glad I found all of this and my home in you @kitchlug #kajgautkitched." (Also Read: Kareena Kapoor Khan Flaunts Her Baby Bump As Son, Taimur Enjoys Halloween Party At Home [Pictures])
In another picture, the bride and groom could be seen performing a traditional ritual, particular to their respective ethnicities. In the caption, Kajal had briefly shared the details of her 'Punjabi meets Kashmiri' wedding. Her caption could be read as "In our Punjabi meets Kashmiri wedding, we just had to include #Jeelakarrabellam - a tribute to both Gautam and my individual relationships with South India! In a Telugu wedding, Jeelakarra Bellam signifies the union/marriage of the bride and the groom. Jeelakarra (cumin) and bellam (jaggery) are made into a thick paste and put on a tamalapaku (betel leaf). The bride and the groom put it on each other's head while the purohit chants mantras from the Vedas. The bride and the groom look at each other only after this ceremony is completed and this auspicious ceremony signifies that the couple will stay together in bitter and sweet times."
