Is This Kangana Ranaut’s New Home in Manali?

A European style house, in the middle of snow-capped mountains and deodar trees, with a glass roof and a step-outside balcony, doesn’t it just sound like a perfect abode?

If these photos are anything to go by, it seems this is the description of Kangana Ranaut’s new home in Manali. Recently, the internet has been buzzing with the pictures of the new piece of heaven that Kangana has constructed in the hills of Manali, which is her hometown.

According to a report in DNA, Kangana had bought the land worth Rs 10 crore a few years back. If sources are to be believed, it is said that she was in talks with several architects for the master piece and it took her four years to complete the construction.

Take at a look at the picture of the house:

"“It’s an eight-bedroom house with all the windows opening to a view of the mountains. Each room has a step-out balcony. There is a rooftop glass conservatory, so that there is ample sunlight during the winters.”" - DNA Source

According to the reports, the house has cost Kangana Rs 30 crore and has been designed by interior designer, Shabnam Gupta. Though the house is a European style bungalow, Kangana has made sure that their is a little bit of Himachali handicraft in the interiors.

Just last year, Kangana refurbished her 5-bedroom house Mumbai home. The house, which is located in Khar, has been designed by Richa Bahl, wife of Queen director Vikas Bahl.

It is said only the basic work of the house was done by Richa, whereas Kangana took charge of the interiors. From the looks of it, it is evident that Kangana is in love with everything retro. Her Khar home is quite like a “museum with collectible items”, the report adds.
