As reported in CNN, Karan Johar’s party in 2019, which came under the radar for the actors at his party, consumed drugs, and hence he was said to be questioned by NCB. However, as per latest reports in Times Now, the DDG of South Western Region, NCB Mutha Ashok Jain has finally cleared the air by stating that no probe will take place in KJo’s 2019 house party. Further clarifying that KJo’s party back in 2019 has no link connected to Sushant Singh Rajput’s case ongoing investigation.
Amidst this ongoing NCB probe relating to SSR’s death case Karan Johar too had issued a statement stating all the claims of drugs being consumed at his party being false and baseless. Also news reports which stated Kshitij Ravi Prasad being associated with KJo’s production banner in the capacity of an executive producer, were addressed by the filmmaker in his statement. A part of his statement read, “No narcotics substance was consumed in the party. I would like to unequivocally once again state that I do not consume narcotics and I do not promote or encourage consumption of any substance.”
Followed by, “Mr. Kshitij Ravi Prasad joined Dharmatic Entertainment (sister concern of Dharma Productions) in November 2019 as one of the executive producers on contract basis for a project which eventually did not materialize.”
