Kartik Aaryan is on a spree of signing projects.

As per a fresh report, the actor recently wrapped up director Ram Madhvani's Dhamaka, and is currently in talks for Hansal Mehta's next film.

The movie will reportedly be based on real-life events.

However, an official confirmation is yet to come on this development.

Details: Movie expected to go on floors in 2022

A source revealed to Pinkvilla, "Kartik and Hansal share a good equation and have been meaning to collaborate for a while now. This one is a real-life story which will be produced by Ronnie Screwvala."

"The involved parties are yet to sign on the dotted line. The film is expected to go on the floors in the first quarter of 2022," the source added.

While the makers have not given an official confirmation, a source has revealed that the story of the movie is yet to be completed by the writers.

As soon as the story gets finished, Mehta will start pre-production work of the film.

For the unversed, the director's debut web series Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story was a massive hit.

Meanwhile, Aaryan-starrer Dhamaka has reportedly been sold to Netflix and it will be out this June.

Apart from the aforementioned projects, the actor also has Anees Bazmee's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Karan Johar-backed Dostana 2 coming up soon.

Reports suggest that he might also collaborate with filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali for Heera Mandi.

He was last seen in Love Aaj Kal.
