Kendall Jenner is not one to shy away from an opportunity to flex her sartorial muscles and took time out of her hectic Fashion Week schedule to attend the 2019 Emmy Awards.

Last night, the supermodel proved she has some pretty famous contacts on speed dial as she arrived at the starry ceremony decked in a look hot from the Richard Quinn runway.

The 23-year-old stepped out in a billowing floral ensemble by the London-based designer complete with a black latex roll neck.

Demonstrating that she waits for no trend, the look formed part of Quinn’s most recent SS20 collection which only just debuted at London Fashion Week a mere few days ago.

To complete the co-ord, Jenner went back to her darker roots after sporting blonde locks at the Burberry SS20 show which marked the model’s return to the catwalk after a brief hiatus.

But fans were left divided by the look with a number criticising her latest fashion move on Twitter.

“Kendall Jenner’s dress at the Emmys makes me so uncomfortable and I dunno why,” one tweeted.

Another added: “The latex. With a strapless mermaid dress. Covered in floral. And then you realise it isn’t a dress. It’s a corset/skirt set. Hell naw.”

“Hideous dress,” a third wrote. “I’m sure you can afford something better looking.”

While others, appreciated the model representing the London designer across the pond.

“I kind of love Kendall Jenner’s dress,” one social media user stated.

Another wrote, “I appreciate Kendall Jenner for recognising the work of amazing Richard Quinn.”

Although Quinn required no A-list introduction, as the Central Saint Martins alumnus graced the headlines when the Queen sat front row at the 29-year-old’s 2018 London Fashion Week show.

Jenner attended last night’s star-studded bash to present the Emmy Award for Outstanding Competition Program alongside her sister, Kim Kardashian, who chose a dress by go-to label, Vivienne Westwood.

But when they graced the stage, their speech was met with laughter from the crowd after the sisters referred to their reality television show, ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’, as “real” and “unscripted”.
