During the launch of IPLIX at Taj Mahal Hotel, Delhi on 21st September 2019, Kiren Rijiju, the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports of India urged the celebrities and social media influencers to participate and support the cause of Fit India Movement and Swach Bharath Abhiyan.

He mentioned that such movements from the government can only be successful with the support of the people and in today’s age of the internet, social media plays a very important role in spreading awareness and bringing people together.

Jag Chima, the co-founder of IPLIX who hosted the event, spoke about the responsibility of the influencers and stated “With social media, everybody has the platform to speak their mind. But using the platform responsibly is very important. The youth look up to the influencers as their idols and the influencers have a huge responsibility of being the right example and motivating them in the right way”.

Abhinav Mahajan, a popular fitness influencer from Chandigarh stated “I receive a lot of comments from my subscribers about the positive impact that I have made to their life when it comes to health and fitness. It adds a lot of responsibility on my shoulders to deliver the right information through my social media platforms.

Abhinav further congratulated Mr. Jag Chima on the successful launch of IPLIX and thanked him for mentoring and providing the right guidance which has helped him a lot in his personal and professional journey so far.

The launch event also witnessed popular influencers like Mumbaiker Nikhil, MSK etc… and brands like Restore, Syska and Life Fitness India.
