·2-min read

Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani starrer Laxmii released on November 9 on Disney+ Hotstar VIP. However, after the release, the film got a mixed response from both critics and netizens. Amidst all this, a day after the release of Laxmii, Akshay Kumar unveils a new peppy track, titled Start Stop which completely justifies the theme of the movie. The dance number will make you start dancing but won’t let you stop because of its beats and catchy tunes. Since Laxmii is a horror-comedy film, we see a lot of background dancers dressed as zombies and ghosts. The song will be a better fit for the Halloween festival.

The song's setting looks pretty eye-catching and vibrant. While Akshay too looks funky and quirky in the song, his killer and infectious dance steps are bound to go viral. Naturally, it goes without saying that Akshay has stolen the show in the latest track that will surely make you all put on your dancing shoes. Sharing the song video on Instagram, he wrote, "Start Stop Song: Laxmii Start. Stop. Repeat because this song won’t let you stop dancing on its beats. #StartStop out now!"

Before the release of the film, Lawrence penned a thank you note for Akshay Kumar who accepted this role. He wrote on Facebook, “My special thanks to Akshay sir. My Hindi debut direction movie Laxmi is releasing in #Disneyplushotstar at 7.05 pm today. Through Tamil movie, Kanchana I wanted to convey the pain and struggles of transgender’s and the movie received a lot of appreciation from transgender’s community and the public. Similarly, When Akshay sir is acting in its Hindi remake, I hope the message will reach a wider audience.” gave Raghava Lawrence directorial venture Laxmii 2 stars.
