Kartik Aaryan hit a new high in his career as his latest film, Love Aaj Kal, became the highest opening film of his career at the box office, beating his previous record Pati Patni Aur Woh.
Valentine’s Day showered love for Imtiaz Ali who made Socha Na Tha, Jab We Met, Love Aaj Kal, Rockstar, Highway, Tamasha, Jab Harry Met Sejal as Love Aaj Kal 2 turned out to be one of his highest opening film at the box office.
After giving super hit 2009’s Love Aaj Kal, Imtiaz Ali is back with the sequel which has lot of expectations from the audience. Though the critics and audience have given average reviews to the much awaited Valentine’s Day release as per BookMyShow.com , the youth thronged the theaters to watch the sparkling chemistry between Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan.

After scoring super-hits like Pyaar Ka Punchnama, Pyaar Ka Punchanama 2, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Luka Chuppa and Pati Patni Aur Woh. Kartik Aaryan is on the roll with Love Aaj Kal as the collections should go high on Saturday and Sunday.
Love Aaj Kal has also defeated the 2009 original starring Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone, which had opened to positive reviews at Rs 8.02 crore on its first day.
