Talk about reel lives. Thanks to his role of a guide in the upcoming Jab Harry met Sejal, Shah Rukh Khan is now an honorary member of the Jodhpur Guide Association.
The association felicitated SRK with an honorary membership and badge as a token, while the superstar interacted with the guides to discuss the nitty gritty of their job. SRK went to the trouble of altering the promotional schedule of Jab Harry met Sejal to make a pit stop at Jodhpur to accept the honour.

Shah Rukh Khan, ActorI am thankful to the Jodhpur Guide Association for inviting and conferring me with an Honorary Membership. It was my desire to visit Jodhpur and it is for the first time that I am playing the role of a guide in a film. I have tried to imbibe the intricacies of a guide. I hope I have come close to what you all do in real life.

Shah Rukh Khan received a very traditional Jodhpuri welcome from the tourist guides with a Rajasthani pagdi as he landed in Jodhpur. Jab Harry met Sejal - directed by Imtiaz Ali - is all set to release on 4 August.
