I often start stories by writing 'It's all happening out there' but to be candid, there's nothing happening out there on producer Madhu Mantena's front. The man is an emotional wreck at his sea-facing apartment in Yari Road (the same house where he stayed with Nandana Sen whom he dated for the longest time). SpotboyE.com has it that Masaba's exit from his life has shattered him big time. Ever since they announced their split on August 25 this year, Madhu has stopped going to the office.
Madhu, who is one of the four Phantom boys (Anurag Kashyap, Vikramaditya Motwane, Vikas Bahl being the other three), has tried to gather his composure no doubt, but failed. All his friends, relatives and colleagues' calls have not helped either. For those who've come in late, Masaba announced their split on her social media account. The tweet read: "With a lot of sadness, Madhu and I have today decided to go on a trial separation in our marriage.' Further she added that she added that they consulted their parents and professionals before taking this step. She also added, 'We are not strong enough to explain ourselves to even friends who deserve answers from us. All we can say to each of them is give us time and gives us love when we reach out to you."
FYI, we were the first to bring you the news that it is Masaba and not Madhu who has left the house. Masaba now stays with her mother, Neena Gupta.
We also hear that Madhu and Masaba have not kept in touch after their separation,. maybe on an odd occasion to the barest minimum. Woh kehte hain na, kaam se kaam? Does this imply that there is no light at the end of this dark tunnel? Filhaal, toh aise hi lag raha hai. Masaba, at least, is not looking behind.
Nearly 4 years ago, Madhu fell head-over-heels in love with Masaba. The Ghajini producer had gonedown on his knees, and proposed to Masaba with a custom-made diamond ring in 2015. They married in June 2015. But not all fairy tales have a happy ending.
