It would seems plans are ticking along nicely for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's new empire, as the couple has hired some pretty senior new communications staff to help them with their new life in the US.

Royal Correspondent Rebecca English shared a tweet about the news, writing: "New appointments for Harry and Meghan - the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have named their new head of comms and a press secretary (interesting choice of title - that’s very palace-speak!)"

The couple now live in LA after stepping back from their official royal duties in March this year, and have been working quietly during lockdown on upcoming projects. They recently signed a mega-deal with Netflix to produce documentaries, docu-series, feature films, scripted shows and children’s programming, while they've also been working on launching their new charitable organisation, Archewell.

The couple told the Telegraph: "Before SussexRoyal, came the idea of 'Arche' - the Greek word meaning 'source of action'.

"We connected to this concept for the charitable organisation we hoped to build one day, and it became the inspiration for our son’s name. To do something of meaning, to do something that matters."

The new hires joined the team in October and together will oversee the communications strategy for Archewell, future production projects, and other personal ventures. We can't wait to see what comes next.
