It was on June 7, 2020, when Meghana Raj had gotten the biggest shock of her life with the sudden demise of her husband and actor, Chiranjeevi Sarja, due to cardiac arrest. Meghana, who was expecting their first child during that time, had kept a brave face, even after going through the biggest emotional trauma of losing her husband.
After keeping her spirits high, it was on October 22, 2020, Meghana Raj had given birth to a baby boy, and since then, he has become Jr. Chiru for everyone. Now, after a year, on Chiranjeevi Sarja's death anniversary, his wife, Meghana revealed the special thing she and her little son, Junior Chiru are going to do.
In an interview with Bangalore Times, Meghana Raj opened up about her special plans for her late husband, Chiranjeevi Sarja's first death anniversary. The doting wife revealed that she is going to introduce their son, Junior Chiru to his father's memorial on their farm for the first time. Meghana said, "I am taking our son to the farm that has Chiranjeevi's memorial for the first time since his birth. I wanted June 7 to be the first time that he visits the place."
Going further in her interview, Meghana Raj spoke about the similarities between her late husband, Chiranjeevi Sarja and their son, Junior Chiru. The delighted mother explained that little Chiru is like his father in many ways. She said, "Our son, of course. He is only seven months old, but he is so like Chiranjeevi in many ways that it is both adorable and annoying sometimes. I am glad that my son is like his father."
Meghana also acknowledged her husband's absence but added that she, her family members, and friends never grieve about him with tears. She added, "I do not like it when they cry about it. Of course, we all continue to grieve and that will never diminish, but when we talk about Chiranjeevi, I want it to be about the good things he has done and how he has always wished well for others."
At the end of her interview, Meghana Raj revealed one of the most important and beautiful memories of her husband, Chiranjeevi Sarja that she would cherish for the rest of her life. The actress said that it was on June 6, 2020, when she woke up in the middle of the night and saw her hubby gazing towards her. Meghana revealed, "The one thing that stays with me the most, is how on the night of June 6, 2020, I was fast asleep while Chiranjeevi was still awake. At some point during the night, I opened my eyes, only to see that he was just gazing at me and smiling. I asked him what he was thinking, and he said 'nothing'. The look on his face that night will remain with me forever and I think of it every single day."
Ever since the birth of their baby boy, Jr. Chiru, Meghana has been sharing glimpses of her mommy life. When her baby boy had turned four months old, Meghana had taken to her IG handle and had shared adorable pictures of her little wonder. In the pictures, Meghana's baby boy had looked cute in his blue onesie, with a crown printed on it.
