MID-WEEK READATHON: Classic Stephen King’s ‘Pet Sematary’

Well, today we have brought in a treat for you. In this week’s readathon well be covering The famous Stephen kings book “Pet Sematary”
Pet Sematary is a horror novel written by American writer Stephen King in 1983. The novel was nominated for a World Fantasy Award for Best Novel in 1986. The novel is adapted into two films the first part was in 1989 and another in 2019.
The story behind this horror thriller is an unnatural terror in a form of a curse on a happy family caused by a cemetery. The Creed family formed by the father who is a successful doctor named Louis Creed, mother along with two sons have moved to a little neighbourhood, at Maine place, but soon after they move, their son is killed by a great truck that thunder pass near his newly purchased rural home. The father discovers by a neighbour that there is a graveyard where you can bury your loved ones, and then he plans to come back to life his kid. To save and revive his three-year-old little boy with the magical reanimating qualities of an Indian burial ground, he takes his son to the place, and he is brought back to life. Everything goes back to normal till the day when the son kills a person. Now, the father has to find a wat to stop his child before he murders other people. Louis is shocked to discover that danger and horror that awaits.
