Bollywood actor, Shahid Kapoor's wife, Mira Rajput Kapoor talked about diving parenting duties and the idea of treating a father as not just a babysitter. The 26-year-old, Mira Rajput Kapoor, is a young mom of two adorable kids, Misha Kapoor and Zain Kapoor. The gorgeousness often shares snippets of her life with her millions of fans and she never fails to inspire other mommies.
We still remember how within a few days, Mira Rajput Kapoor has become an important part of the glamorous world when she had tied the knot with actor, Shahid Kapoor. And within a few months, Mira has created her own fanbase and everyone wanted to get a glimpse of her journey as 'Missus Kapoor'.
Recently, during an Instagram live session, Mira opened up on how she and her husband take care of their children, in response to a question asked by a follower. She said, "I read something the other day which said, ‘Don’t treat dad as a babysitter, treat him like a parent.’ By that, what you mean is dad is not going to be there when mom needs time off. Dad is going to do what dad does, he is not going to fill in for mom because he has his own role."
Mira further went on to share that Shahid also takes care of the kids equally. The star wife also talked about her belief that children share a different bond with each parent and it is important for them to spend time together. Mira said, "My kids are totally different with me than they are with Shahid. They enjoy doing different things with him and they enjoy doing different things with me. That really helps with the bonding of the kids and their dad. And the kids and me, we just get time to recharge."
We all will agree to the fact that Mira had always worn her title of being a homemaker with pride. In 2017, during a Women's Day event, she had opened up on being a housewife. She had shared, "I am a homemaker and wear that label with pride. I wouldn’t want to spend one hour with Misha and then rush off to work. Why did I have her?"
On the occasion of Mother's Day, Mira's munchkins, Misha and Zain had made sure to make her feel super special. The sibling duo had baked a yummy heart-shaped chocolate cake for their mommy and had made a handmade card. However, the special part about the handmade card was Misha's handwriting and the way she had written a reversed 'Z' of her brother's name. Sharing the glimpses of the same, Mira had written, "You two are my whole heart.. a small little piece for Papa. I love you my babies."
Well, Mira and Shahid are definitely the perfect parents! What do you think?
