Mob allegedly beats man to death over suspicion of cow smuggling in Rajasthan

Chittorgarh (Rajasthan), June 14 (ANI): Man was allegedly beaten to death by mob in Rajasthan’s Chittorgarh over cow smuggling suspicion on June 14. The man who died has been identified as Babu Lal Bhil. Another victim Pintu, who is injured, has admitted in hospital. Police have detained 7 to 8 people. Further investigation is underway. “We were informed that around mid-night between 13 and 14 June in Chittorgarh, a group of people have beaten two people carrying cows to Madhya Pradesh. One of them died in the hospital and other one is injured. The murder case has been registered against the mob. Police have detained 7 to 8 people. Further investigation is underway,” informed Ravi Prakash, ADG, Rajasthan.
