As expected, Akshay Kumar, Bobby Deol, Riteish Deshmukh, Kriti Sanon, Kirti Kharbanda and Pooja Hegde starrer Housefull 4 opened on a good note in the morning shows across India.

Housefull 4 had generated curiousity among the audience as it is coming at the right time of Diwali festival celebration. The songs have created quite a buzz while the team is travelling places for aggressive promotions which has led to an opening of 40-50% in the morning shows which looks to beat Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Shivaay and Krrish 3. The early reviews have not been great but still better than previous releases.

Made In China

Rajkummar Rao is making a comeback with yet another slapstick comedy, Made In China, after impressing the audience last year with blockbuster called Stree. Paresh Rawal and Mouni Roy joins him to make it a wholesome entertainment.

While the trailer of Made In China looked promising, the clash with Housefull 4 had hurt its collection at the ticket window which led to an occupancy of just 5-10% in the morning shows. The good news is that reviews of comedy drama is good and the the word-of-mouth reviews is positive so collections should pick up.

Saand Ki Aankh

Produced by Anurag Kashyap, Saand Ki Aankh is based on a true story of the oldest sharpshooters Chandro and Prakashi Tomar played by Bhumi Pednekar and Taapsee Pannu. The occupancy range is very low ranging between 2-5% in the morning shows.

The good news is that Saand Ki Aankh got the best reviews among the three films released today and the earnings should pick up in the evening and night shows.

All three films should start doing well post-Diwali which is Monday and has 5 days to mint good money.
