Bored of eating the same dinners and wearing the same leggings every day? You’re not alone.
We may only be a month into 2021, but here at Yahoo UK we’ve seen that shoppers are not wasting a moment to buy upgraded tech, fashion and essentials.
As expected, there has been a rise in demand for cosy knitwear, lounge sets and leggings, as the majority of people continue to work from home.
The winter weather (and a bit of snow) has also increased demand for weighted blankets, as well as portable heaters to keep you toasty in your home office.
But lockdown isn’t all work and no play.
4K TVs are also proving hugely popular this year, as people look to upgrade their set for Bridgerton binges.
Plus, we discovered a few other cool gadgets and cookbooks that you, our readers, are snapping up.
So, if you want to be nosey and see what people are buying in 2021, here are Yahoo UK’s best-selling products of the year so far.
10 of Yahoo UK’s most popular buys in 2021
Steady Spin Anti-Vibration Washing Machine Pad | £15.99 from Amazon
The Anti-Vibration Washing Machine Pad has been hugely popular with the Yahoo audience for years, as it prevents the annoying rattling of the appliance even at high top speed on the spin cycle.
Slip the pad between your machine and counter top before you inflate it with the manual pump. When inflated the device will then absorb any sound and vibrations. Much needed while working from home.
Supersoft Striped Crew Neck Jumper | £15 from Marks and Spencer
We are all lusting after cosy knitwear at present and it’s an even bigger draw when an item of clothing has been given the celebrity seal of approval.
Holly Willoughby recently showcased her spring wardrobe, which included this £15 eye-catching rainbow jumper from M&S.
This crew-neck design is made with a Stay Soft finish to be extra cosy even after washing, and comes in two colours. We don’t think it will be in stock for much longer now that it has had the Willoughby seal of approval.
Russell Hobbs Ceramic Plug Heater | £18.99 (Was £24.99) from Amazon
This plug in heater is currently Amazon’s best-selling electrical heater and is ideal for warming small spaces.
The built in thermostat regulates the temperature around the heater, helping to maintain the perfect level of heat. Simply select a temperature from 15°C to 30°C using the digital control and the ceramic heating element converts energy into heat quickly and efficiently.
Plus, the 12-hour timer can be used to heat your home at times to suit your daily routine, for example warming your bedroom before you get up in the morning.
JVC LT-50CA890 Android TV 50" Smart 4K Ultra HD HDR LED TV | £299 (Was £379.99) from Currys
Want to upgrade your TV after 2020? Of course you do.
JVC’s 50 inch 4K TV boasts a picture quality of 50Hz, is ultra high definition and is compatible with Google Assistant. Not only do you have access to catch up TV and 4K streaming, but also Freeview HD.
What we love most is that it has a bigger screen than most available for this price, so it’s ideal for those pining after a home cinema of their own.

Cosy Cotton High Waisted Jeggings | £19.50 from Marks and Spencer
M&S has launched a new style of its coveted leggings that come in four colours and are perfect for working from home.
If, like us, you sometimes like to get a bit more dressed up to tackle the day, these jeggings (part legging, part jean) are just what you need.
The flattering high waisted design has an elasticated waist for extra comfort and is made from sustainably sourced cotton, which is super stretchy.
Specialist Synthetic Weighted Blanket | £42 (Was £60) from John Lewis & Partners
Settling down to watch your favourite soap, or dozing off to sleep, is made all the better with a weighted blanket.
This popular John Lewis design, which is filled with glass beads, claims to feel like a hug thanks to the extra weight, which warms you up, and can help you fall asleep. It is advised you pick a blanket weight that is 10% of your body weight, and should not be used by children under three or pregnant women.
Textured Square Neck Jumper | £25 from Marks and Spencer
The Textured Square Neck Jumper has proved to be a huge hit with shoppers since it hit the M&S website a few weeks back.
However, last week popularity for the item peaked as This Morning co-host Holly Willoughby was seen wearing the trendy number.
The design features a square neck and puff sleeves for a chic take on the classic jumper. It comes in four pastel shades: cream, grey marl, soft turquoise and apple, all of which come in sizes XS to XL.
JVC LT-32C600 32" Smart HD Ready LED TV | £199.99 from Currys
Maybe you’re looking to a budget-friendly TV for your bedroom or home office?
The JVC 32" Smart HD Ready LED TV is one of the more affordable Smart TVs out there, but that doesn’t mean it lacks on its spec.
This model boasts a 32 inch screen and has streaming apps, such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and Britbox.
SINOPHANT High Waisted Leggings for Women | £10.99 from Amazon
Obviously we went to see what was Amazon’s best-selling item of clothing in 2021 and it was these leggings that took the top spot.
The SINOPHANT High Waisted Leggings are full leg yoga leggings, which provide comfort and support when exercising, or wearing day-to-day.
They provide stomach control thanks to the high waist compression band, which flatters the wearer’s frame. Plus, the fabric is opaque and claims not to be see through, which customer reviews have also confirmed.
