Sara Ali Khan is all over the place! From her stunning looks to her heartfelt answers in interviews, Sara is definitely making waves all around.
The girl with the old world charm, Sara Ali Khan has made his Big Bollywood debut with Kedarnath opposite Sushant Singh Rajput and she is getting quite a lot of praises for her natural act in the film. Sara was an obese child and we all know that. What’s absolutely inspiring and fresh is her story from being fat to fab.
Talking about the days when she was obese, Sara said,
“I was 96 kgs. ‘It will be almost rude to call you fat,’ is what you (Saif) said. Actually, I had PCOD. I still do. And, because of that, I think I put on the amount of weight that I did. Because of that, there was also like a hormone problem.”
In an recent interview, Sara revealed how her mother Amrita Singh failed to recognize her at the airport when she met her after her return to India from US after four long months. Owing it all to her tremendous weight loss, she said,
“September was the start of the semester and December was the end. In those 4 months, I even refrained from face-timing her. And, she recognized me at the airport only because of my suitcases; I was looking completely different. Obviously, 30 kg down, you ARE going to look different.”
Continuing about her increase in weight, she concluded by saying,
“I was always a chubby girl, but after going to the States, for the first two years, I put on a lot of weight and then last year, I burned all those kilos there itself. I think America is the place where you can really choose. Jahaan aapko pizza milta hain, wahin aapko protein milta hain. Jahaan pe chocolate milta hain, wahin aapko salad milta hain. That was it. So, I lost all the weight that I had gained there and lots more by working out and maintaining a disciplined life.”
Well, we feel that you did a bravo of a job Sara and your hard work did pay off. More power to you!
