MTV Europe Music Award 2020: Armaan Malik Bags The Best India Act Award for His Single 'Control'

As we near the end of this year, we sure have our entertainment sorted with the various award shows that will be held in the coming weeks. Recently, the MTV EMAs (Europe Music Award) took place and BTS ruled the winner's list by bagging most of the awards. While this is definitely a good news for all their fans, what comes as a celebratory news for all of us is that Armaan Malik bagged an award for his single Control as well. The singer shared the happy news on social media and thanked all his fans for their support. He penned down a heartfelt note which expressed his gratitude for this victory. Armaan attached a few goofy photos with this post which totally did justice to his happiness. He also dedicated the award to all the young Indian musicians 'who dare to dream and work hard to make them come true.' The singer beat Divine, Kaam Bhaari, Siri x Sez On The Beat and Prabh Deep to win the award.

Control is Armaan's debut English single and this win surely put expedites Armaan's position further in the international market. The singer has two singles in the pipeline and is looking forward to its release. Armaan had revealed earlier, "I have two singles that will release by the end of the year. One is in Hindi and the other is in English but I can't reveal much about either at this point. I also have some international collaborations planned for 2021. So yeah, looking forward to a bunch of cool and exciting stuff." Armaan Malik Is All Set to Release His First English Song 'Control'.

Apart from Armaan's big win, Stray Kids took home the award for Korean Act beating ASTRO, Everglow, KARD, Viction and Stray Kids. Lady Gaga won Best Artist and US Act while Little Mix took home Best Pop and UK & Ireland Act.
