Mumbai City FC will be playing ATK Mohun Bagan in the Indian Super League at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Fatorda on Monday at 7:30 PM IST. Mumbai City FC has acquired the number one position with 22 points while ATK Mohun Bagan has occupied the second spot with 20 points.

Mumbai City FC played nine matches out of which they won seven, lost and drew once. ATK Mohun Bagan on the other side also had nine games, they were victorious on six occasions, lost once and had a draw twice.

The two teams have a difference of just two points between them and are the favourites to play the ISL finals. Today’s clash would be of major significance as the top two teams will collide against each other, a win for Mumbai would take them five points ahead of ATK Mohun Bagan. With a half-season to go and being the table topper of the ISL standings, Mumbai would want to clinch the ISL title with such kind of performance.

In the previous game, Mumbai City beat Bengaluru FC by 3-1, goals from Bipin Singh, Bartholomew Ogbeche and Mourtada Fall sealed the match for the table leaders. On the other hand, ATK Mohun Bagan beat NorthEast United 2-0.

With this being ATK Mohun Bagan’s first season the two teams will be facing each other for the first time in the history of ISL.

Javi Hernandez is doubtful for ATK Mohun Bagan in the upcoming fixture against Mumbai City FC. Manvir Singh could return to the starting XI.

Ogbeche might have earned himself a spot in the starting XI after an impressive cameo in the previous game.
