Ekta Kapoor’s serial Kuch Toh Hai of the Naagin series starring Harsh Rajput and Krishna Mukherjee will soon go off air. The show which has not even completed 10 episodes till now was not able to connect with the audience and as a result did not get enough TRP. The makers of the show have apparently already informed the cast and crew of the show about the sad news. The plot of the show revolves around a love story between Rehaan, a vampire and Priya, a naagin.
According to a report published in SpotboyE, the buzz around this news has been going for a while now, but it is only recently that the channel took the decision to pull the plug. A source close to the show has also informed that the last episode of the serial will be telecasted on March 21. The serial which also stars Vaishali Thakkar, Resham Tipnis, Manini Mishra and Naveen Saini went on air on February 7. As of now, none of the actors or actresses have made any comments regarding this news.
Ansh Gupta, who was a part of the show, had recently called quits due to some differences. As per previous reports, the role that he was promised was something different from the one which he was actually offered. He had told the media that he does not want to blame anyone for this as such situations are not rare in the entertainment industry. The actor who was to play the male lead’s friend also mentioned that he is hopeful that Ekta Kapoor will consider him for strong roles in the future.
For the unversed, this show was the spin off Naagin 5, a serial that had managed to win the audiences’ heart. The show had starred Sharad Malhotra and Surbhi Chandna in the lead roles. This particular TV show which impressed the viewers went off air in February after running for a period of six months.
