Nando's really are too good to us. After introducing the three new salads and four new sides to the menu earlier this year, the restaurant have just announced a new wrap. Unsurprisingly, it sound completely delicious. If you need a new excuse to put a Nando's date in the diary (as if), this is it.
Please welcome to the stage, the Mozam Wrap! Nando's say its "bursting with both colour and flavour, the new, tangy chicken wrap has been inspired by the black, yellow, red and green colours of the Mozambique flag, with each ingredient in the wrap reflecting a different colour.
"From the red of the PERi-PERi sauce and green of the lettuce, to the black and yellow of the rich Black Garlic Sauce and Pineapple and Coconut Chutney, the wrap comes with brand new Nando's ingredients worth getting messy for!"
Nando's is always worth getting messy for, which might be why the restaurant will be introducing a limited number of giant napkins (and at 48cm by 48cm, we mean giant…) into some stores.
The wrap will launch on 15 October (that's today!), with 50p from each item sold being donated to Nando’s Fighting Malaria.
The wrap comes off the back of a whole host of new regular and Fino sides, which the restaurant launched in May 2019. We're talking rich and tangy Saucy Spinach, Grains n’ Greens; Roasted Sweet Potato & Butternut Squash; and deliciously tender Long Stem Broccoli. In and around out mouths, please.
Nando’s also added to its Salad options, launching the Watermelon and Feta Salad, a House Salad, and a larger Grains 'n' Greens.
The Watermelon and Feta Salad features chargrilled slices of watermelon and pickled watermelon chunks served on a bed of baby spinach with black olives, cucumber and a generous sprinkling of feta. While the House Salad features cos lettuce tossed with crunchy cucumber and mixed baby plum tomatoes, topped with olives and mixed chargrilled peppers.
And as for the Grains 'n' Greens? Nando's say it features "a hearty helping of mixed grains, beans and corn, served on a bed of baby spinach and topped with long stem broccoli". All three salads are also available with a helping of PERi-PERi chicken, because why wouldn't you?
We'll see you in the queue.
