NCB Arrests Producer Firoz Nadiadwala's Wife Shabana Saeed In Connection To The Drug Probe: REPORTS

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has been investigating the drugs probe in Mumbai, and earlier today, it was reported that the NCB officials carried out a raid at Bollywood producer Firoz Nadiadwala's residence. A report in India Today stated that some amount of drugs were recovered from his home, which is located in the upscale western suburbs of Mumbai. Now, India Today has reported that Firoz Nadiadwala’s wife Shabana Saeed has been arrested by the NCB.


The report stated that while Firoz Nadiadwala's house was searched by the NCB officials, the producer was not present during the raid. The report mentioned that the officials recovered 10 gram of ganja (cannabis) from his house, and it was procured from a drug peddler, Wahid Abdul Kadir Sheikh aka Sultan, who was arrested by the NCB on November 6. Firoz Nadiadwala’s wife Shabana Saeed was taken to the NCB for questioning, and her statement was recorded. She was later arrested by the officials, reports India Today.


On the work front, Firoz Nadiadwala has produced several Bollywood films such as Welcome Back, Phir Hera Pheri, Welcome, and others.
