Actor Ajay Devgn, who impressed one and all with his Punjabi in the film Son Of Sardaar, is now all set to deliver lines in five different languages in the upcoming Sajid Khan film, Himmatwala.
In the film, Devgn will speak in Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Punjab and Tamil in one particular scene for the first time. Talking about this scene, director Sajid Khan said, "Yes, Ajay has spoken in 5 languages in one particular scene where Tamannaah Bhatia gets some goons to beat him up. All those guys belong to different regions. One is from Punjab, another is from Tamil Nadu, yet another from Gujarat, Maharashtra and Bengal. They challenge him to a duel in their own languages and that's when Ajay speaks to them in their respective languages. It's just not a word that he says, it's an entire dialogue, which is why I got a tutor on the sets."
A source close to the team said, "Yes, this is the first time you will hear Ajay Devgn speak so many languages at one time. We have incorporated this scene especially because we want to appeal to people from different regions of the country and we are sure people would appreciate the effort."
A remake of the 1983 blockbuster, Himmatwala starring Jeetendra and Sridevi, the film also stars Tamannah Bhatia, Paresh Rawal and Mahesh Manjrekar and is slated to release on March 29, 2013.
