Ajay Devgn's Complaint Against Yash Raj Films Rejected By Competition Commission of India

Actor-producer Ajay Devgn had recently filed a complaint against Yash Raj Films with the Competition Commission of India, claiming that YRF was using its dominant position in the industry to ask exhibitors to dedicate more screens to its own upcoming release Jab Tak Hai Jaan as opposed to Devgn's film Son Of Sardaar.

However, it seems that the CCI has rejected the plea filed by Devgn after arriving at a conclusion that there are no violations of any norms in this case. In its order passed yesterday, the CCI has mentioned that Devgn did not offer any evidence to prove his case that YRF was in a dominant position to violate any norms as such.

Both Son Of Sardaar and Jab Tak Hai Jaan are slated to release on the same day (November 13) and the media is already abuzz about the silent war raging between the two production houses.
