Ekta Kapoor has bound her team with non-disclosure contract for ‘Ek Thi Daayan’

Not much is known about Ek Thi Daayan and for good reason. The producer of the film Ekta Kapoor has added a unique clause in her contract with the entire cast and crew film to keep the key character's identity a secret. If any crew member were found guilty they will be sued for the damages.

“Going by the new age technology, often the spy cameras capture the suspense element of the film and USP of the plot is lost. Since this film is a thriller, Ekta does not want the suspense to be out before the release of the film,” said a source.  To keep the spoiler alerts at bay, the producer has introduced a confidentiality clause in her contract that forbids her cast and crew from sharing or leaking any information pertaining to the identity of the 'daayan' in the film.

Non-disclosure Agreements are fairly common in the industry but this  is the first time that a production house has sought to protect a plot or character from being leaked. The film's spokesperson confirmed the development and said it was Ekta's idea, seconded by her senior team members.
