Imran Khan and Arshad Warsi sport the same look for their respective films releasing on the same date

Imran Khan and Arshad Warsi have lot in common. Apart from sharing the release date of their respective films, they also sport the same look in them. Imran plays a Haryanvi Jat in ‘Matru Ki Bijli Ka Mandola’ while Arshad plays the role of Mahender Fauji in Zilla Ghaziabad.

The big question is who inspired whom? But the producer of ‘Zilla Ghaziabad’, Vinod Bachchan says, "When I saw the first look of Matru ki Bijli ka Mandola, I was really amazed by Imraan's look. This is really very surprising that both of them are seen in a same look for the film, we wanted to keep it exclusive for Arshad."

In Matru Ki Bijli Ka Mandola, Imran had to pierce his ears and grow a beard to look his part of a Haryanvi Jat. Before the shoot, the star  had no idea that the training for the film would mean hanging out with five Jat boys from delhi to imbibe their language and mannerisms. Says a source, “ When Imran Khan agreed to do the film, Vishal Bhardwaj asked him to completely change his body language and learn Haryanvi for the film.  Vishal had already requested NK Sharma who runs the Delhi based ‘Act 1’ theatre group to train Imran for the film.

The coach introduced Imran to Jat young men and for a month Imran spent about 5 hours every day with them.” To make matters tough, N.K. Sharma had instructed the boys to talk to him only in Haryanvi and after a month of rigorous but unconventional training, they decided that he was ready to start shooting.
