In 2010, Cadillac set out to shed its dull silver exterior, and replace it with something everyone could enjoy. The introduction of a new CTS, followed by a high-powered V-spec paved the way, topped off with gorgeous new models like the XTS and ATS, all of which cemented Cadillac as a real luxury player yet again.
So, what would it take for Cadillac to be a name that enthusiasts around the world would equate with high-performance; something that would revolutionize the future of the brand? Maybe this Cadillac Estill concept, by design student Ondrej Jirec, might do the trick.
Developed upon Cadillac’s modern approach — ditching any sort of retro styling that may linger — the Estill is a high-powered, high-performance Cadillac of the future.
A set of extremely sharp angles paired to signature Cadillac lines really sets the Estill apart from any car on the road today, but keeps that true Cadillac feel intact, making it a sure hit with enthusiasts.
With Cadillac planning a new concept at this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show, we don’t think it will bear much of a resemblance to the Estill. But then again, given past concept success, we wouldn’t be shocked if it did.
