Actor Irrfan Khan is one of the few Indian film industry personalities, who has made a name for himself in Hollywood too, with movies like The Namesake, Slumdog Millionaire, The Amazing Spider-Man and Life Of Pi.
However, it seems that Khan still turns down projects if the role is not strong enough, notwithstanding the fact that the film might star Hollywood A-listers. Recently, it has been reported that Khan turned down the role of the antagonist in The Last Knights, a period film that stars veteran actor Morgan Freeman and Clive Owen.
Confirming the news, Khan was quoted saying that he felt his character did not have much to do in the climax and so, he turned down the role. He also thanked Mira Nair for introducing him to the West with The Namesake.
