Despite the fact that there had been rumours that Yash Chopra's last directorial venture Jab Tak Hai Jaan might get banned in Pakistan as there is a Kashmir conflict angle to the story (Shah Rukh Khan plays an Army officer posted in Kashmir in the movie), it now seems that Pakistan authorities might have given the nod for the release of the film.

Sources claim that the website of a movie-hall in Karachi has uploaded the promo as well as some stills from the movie on its site, leading to the assumption that the movie might not face any issues on the day of the release November 13.

In the past, another YRF movie Ek Tha Tiger was banned in Pakistan, as it dealt with the adventures of a RAW agent and his clashes with agents of ISI. Besides this, even Saif Ali Khan's spy thriller Agent Vinod was banned in Pakistan for similar reasons.
