Washington, Apr. 1 (ANI): Joan Rivers, who cruelly mocked Adele during a February 26 appearance on 'The Late Show With David Letterman,' was up at it again, saying that the singer was "chubby" and should lose weight.

Rivers was asked to defend her 'Late Show' comments during a March 29 Huffington Post Live interview, but instead, she continued to criticize Adele's appearance.

The 79-year-old comedian said that it was not mean of her to say those words as Adele is a chubby lady, who is very, very rich, and she should just calm down-or lose weight, Us magazine reported.

"She wanted an apology, so I took an ad out on her ass. I said, 'You are not fat.' And then I had room for a lot of other ads. Adele is beautiful and successful and has what, 100 million dollars? Let's face reality: she's fat!" Rivers added. (ANI)
