Mumbai, Nov 28 (IANS) It has been nine years since Karan Johar's "Kal Ho Naa Ho" hit the screens. The movie, he says, will always be special because it was the last helmed by his father Yash Johar.
"Nine years to 'Kal Ho Naa Ho'... the last film my father helmed at Dharma Productions. An ironic title of a very special film to me... always," Karan tweeted.
The movie released on Nov 28, 2003.
Nikhil Advani, who made his debut as a director with "Kal Ho Naa Ho", also thanked Karan for "giving" him a "dream start".
"Thank you for giving me the dream start!!!" tweeted Advani.
The movie featured Shah Rukh Khan, Saif Ali Khan and Preity Zinta.
Big B plays KBC with TV stars
Its raining TV stars on "Kaun Banega Crorepati".
"KBC with the TV stars −'Bade Acche Lagte Hain' − Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar, and 'Kuch Toh Log Kahenge' with Sharad Kelkar and Kritika Kamra," tweeted host Amitabh Bachchan Tuesday.
"Both groups playing for their respective charity... fun, informative and in the presence of beautifully talented artists," added the 70−year−old veteran.
Fan learns bharatnatyam for Asin
Actress Asin Thottumkal is a trained bharatnatyam dancer and her fan Pratyaksh made sure he learnt the dance form before meeting her.
Pratyaksh, 18, was one of the lucky fans of the actress, who got a chance to meet her on UTV Stars' show "Live My Life" and Asin wanted him to learn the dance form like she does. He didn't even hesitate.
The young fan also wrote a song for Asin. The episode will be aired Dec 2.
