A large part of psychological horror thriller 3G has been shot in the Fiji islands. While the location was a good enough reason for the cast and crew of the film to party hard, the one who ended up missing a lot of fun on most of the days was the lead actress Sonal Chauhan.
"There were a lot of parties which used to take place practically every second night but then I couldn't attend since I was shooting every day. It was really sad since I had to go back to bed by eight in the evening. So the time I went to sleep, these guys would start their parties. I was so jealous," sighs Sonal.
The only solace came from the fact that during the days she could relish being a part of the islands due to the scenic beauty around her. Moreover since her producers (Sunil Lulla and Viki Rajani) had already shot TABLE NO. 21 at the islands, the familiarity factor further came in handy.
"Yes, Fiji in general was a beautiful experience. I am a person who doesn't like outdoor shoot much but for 3G I didn't even realise how 45 days just went by. In fact I remember how they gave me a surprise on my birthday and came with a cake to my room when I was still in my gym clothes," she remembers with a smile, "The whole cast and crew of the movie was very comfortable with each other. We had good fun."
Now here is looking forward to some fun translating on screen as well when this Eros International production in association with Next Gen Films Production, which is co-directed by Sheershak Anand and Shantanu Ray Chhibber and features Neil Nitin Mukesh in lead, releases all over on 15th March.
