All those who were eagerly anticipating the arrival of the first teaser of Madhur Bhandarkar's Heroine on June 1, with the release of Akshay Kumar-Sonakshi Sinha starrer Rowdy Rathore, will have to wait a bit longer.

The postponement occurred owing to differences between the director and the makers of the film. A source was quoted saying, "Madhur has cut a very hard-hitting teaser that shows Kareena smoking and drinking. However, the producers are apprehensive about it and have asked him to re-edit it. Besides, the censors will not allow such a trailer to release without any cuts."

Sources from the studio were quoted saying, "There were some shots in the teaser that showed the protagonist smoking and drinking, which we felt we should not include in the final cut as we wanted the teaser to cut across to as many people as possible. Hence it was a mutual decision to exclude the said shots."

Let's hope the trailer lives up to the expectations of the audiences.
