It is for the first time in Bollywood that the sacred book of Mahabharat will be animated on the silver screen. The film is being made with the good intention of the parents being able to show the film to their children and to acquaint them with the scripture.
MAHABHARAT, the first ever animated film made on the Holy Scripture will have voice overs done by some big names from the film industry.
Bheeshma Pitahma's character will have a baritone voice with Amitabh Bachchan doing the voice over for the character.
The character of Draupadi will be seen getting the voice of the diva of B-town, Vidya Balan. The makers were waiting for the actress' approval. The actress' attributes have been added to the animated character of Draupadi so there is coordination between what the audience hears and watches on screen.
Actor Anil Kapoor would be imparting voice to the character of Karna and took fifteen days to complete the dubbing.
Arjun's voice over will be done by Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn.
Manoj Bajpayee has dubbed for the character of Yudhisthir and completed the entire voice over in a time-span of four days.
Sunny Deol, who also has a heavy voice, has lent his voice for the character of Bheem.
However, the makers of the film are still looking out for a perfect voice for the character of Duryodhan.
