Nobel Peace Prize nominee Malala Yousafzai is already a hero.
Sixteen-year-old Malala Yousafzai, an education activist from Pakistan who was shot in the head and neck in an assassination attempt by Taliban gunmen was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. And though she may not have won the Nobel today, she has won much more: the hearts and ears of people all over the world, who are now rooting for the cause of education for girls simply because of her story. While the win of chemical weapons watchdog, The Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons has the Twitter world abuzz with all kinds of statements cussing the Nobel Peace Prize committee and crying over Malala's loss of the Nobel Prize, we think this brave girl is already a hero. Here are some tweets that say just that.
@beenasarwar: I am not sad or disappointed Malala didn't get the Nobel. The nomination was a strong enough msg. She has a lifetime to achieve, inshallah
@BDUTT: #Malala. More Noble than the Nobel. Your turn will come.

@AndreaMann: Malala fails to win Nobel Peace Prize, does win Audience Award.
@DebbieMikula: While the Nobel Peace Prize went to another - I celebrate and recognize the compassion and insight of 16 year old Malala Yousafzai.

We believe that Malala's journey has only just begun. This bright girl with an indomitable spirit has a cause to fight, a race to run, a dream to fulfil and we can't wait to see it happen!
