Ranveer Singh Wants To Turn Director

Movie Talkies
Ranveer Singh: 'I have grown quite attached to my moustache'

YRF find Ranveer Singh, who made his acting debut with rom-com Band Baaja Baaraat and then played a lovable conman in Ladies vs Ricky Bahl, might be a Bollywood newbie as such, but the energetic young actor claims that he is eager to don the hat of a director soon.

While interacting with the media at the premiere of Talaash, Singh was quoted saying that he will direct a film someday and will also pay a tribute to some of his idols through the film. It seems that Singh made the statement with regards to Aamir Khan, who started his career as an actor and then turned director with Taare Zameen Par.

Ranveer Singh will be next seen in Ram Leela opposite Deepika Padukone. The film is set in Gujarat and is supposed to be the desi adaptation of Shakespeare's tragic love story Romeo And Juliet. He will also be seen in YRF flick Gunday, where he will share screen space with Arjun Kapoor, Irrfan Khan and Priyanka Chopra.
